How We’re Keeping You Safe During COVID-19

COVID-19 is still very much a part of all our daily lives, but staying fit (even from home) is essential for our well-being during this pandemic. Not only can exercise have a positive effect on our immune system, but it can help us counter the effects of isolation and anchor our daily routines with something familiar and normal. Overall health and fitness has been shown to minimize the effects of COVID-19, lessen symptoms and speed up recovery, as well as lowering the likelihood that we can infect others if we come into contact with them.

We are doing all we can to ensure a safe environment for all you athletes out there. Our protocols are listed below, as well as suggestions for how to feel the most comfortable if you’re making your way back in.

Class Schedule

  • We always leave 15-45 minutes between each class to ensure proper ventilation between classes.

  • All classes are capped at 18 people, with sign-ups required ahead of time for contact tracing.

We suggest: Come to the less-populated classes, with average of 6-8 people:

  • 8:00a WOD

  • 9:30a WOD

  • 10:45a Strength/Endurance

  • 1:15p Open Gym

  • 3p WOD

Facility + Cleaning

  • We have 10,000 ft² facility with 14+ ft high ceilings

  • We have great air flow with open doors and a huge fan on at all times to encourage ventilation.

  • No equipment is shared without being sanitized first.

  • Equipment, floors and surfaces cleaned daily with medical-grade cleaners.

We suggest: Washing your hands for 20 seconds when you come in and after you’re finished cleaning up equipment. Washing for 20 seconds with soap has been shown to kill COVID-19.

Social Distancing + Hygiene

  1. We maintain social distance of 6+ feet with taped-off stations of a minimum size of 10x14’.

  2. Everyone is required to wear masks indoors, and this is strictly enforced.

We suggest: Wearing a mask that fits comfortable and doesn’t suck in when you’re breathing hard. Check out our blog post on our fave masks for exercise!
