Congrats to our march member of the month peter sherman
Congratulations to Peter Sherman, our March Member of the Month at CrossFit Sanitas. Peter’s consistency and positive attitude make him a standout member of our community. He always shows up ready to work, supports the athletes around him, and brings great energy to the gym. Peter is constantly encouraging others and always seems to be having fun with a smile on his face. We’re grateful to have him as such an awesome part of the Sanitas community.
Here are some Q & A from Peter!
I Mostly grew up in Boulder and still live in town with my Wife Ansley and our 3 kids Samuel, Brooks and Asher. We like to hike, ski and mountain bike whenever possible.
My perfect day off would be escaping town and going on a long mountain bike ride followed up by going out to sushi.
Day 1 advice would be your going to feel so much better mentally and physically. CrossFit has not only given me more energy and strength to keep up with my kids, but every day I go to CrossFit I am calmer and more relaxed.
I am very fortunate that I don’t have any major challenges at the moment. I feel very lucky for that one!
Current CrossFit goals, I would love to get my Dubs locked down. I have a major mental block when it comes to double unders.
Numbers: 9, 6, 4, and 5. My kids ages and my favorite number is 5. I don’t know a favorite movement, but I love long grindy workouts. My favorites are always the specials like the 12 days of Christmas or the murph/ hero wods. Wall balls, overhead squats, running, rowing, dumbbell snatches, maybe some burpees. I like it all, but prefer the longer chipper style workouts.
