“Cancer survivors can expect to feel lifted by 1:1 attention, expert coaching, and a supportive community while seeing strength gains of 30%* in just 12 weeks in this free program from CrossFit Sanitas.”

— Shaye Patel, Head Coach

*While results vary by individual, average gains from this program have exceeded 30% per research from the Battle Cancer Foundation.

Since opening our doors in 2013, Boulder’s CrossFit Sanitas has coached nearly 5,000 members and guests from 8 to 80 years old towards greater health, happiness and performance.  Today we are pleased to announce a new 12-week program called “Community Strength for Cancer Survivors”.  Rosemarie Calderone, a Sanitas member inspired by her own cancer journey, has graciously offered to lead this initiative supported by Coach Shaye and me.

Community Strength for Cancer Survivors  will be held 1:30-2:30pm on Tuesdays and Fridays beginning in September at CrossFit Sanitas at 2525 Arapahoe in central Boulder (next to Sprouts Market).

No experience or baseline health level is necessary. With your Doctor’s permission, our expert coaches will meet you where you are and dramatically increase your strength even if you’ve been unable to work out for years whether you are in your 20s or 80s.

This $600 program is available at no cost to participants thanks to the generosity, expertise and passion of Rosemarie Calderone and the Battle Cancer Foundation.

Space is limited, so sign up now.  If someone you know has completed cancer treatment in the past two years, we would love to have them join us.  Email rosemary.calderone@gmail.com or info@crossfitsanitas.com for more info.   And please share this post with your health care providers and others in your network.

Battle Cancer Foundation,  developed this program and has field tested it with over 600 cancer survivors, seeing average strength gains of over 30% in just 12 weeks.

The program will be taught by experienced CrossFit Sanitas coaches, including Rosemarie, Shaye and me, who have been specifically trained on this course.

“CrossFit Sanitas’ mission is to enhance the health, happiness and performance of everyone who walks through our doors by meeting them exactly where they are regardless of age, conditioning, or health challenges.  “Community Strength For Cancer Survivors” is a great new program to advance this mission.”

— Eric Roza, CrossFit Sanitas Co-Founder and Coach
