Hyrox FItness Racing comes to CrossFit Sanitas!

CrossFit Sanitas is the new home of Boulder Hyrox(TM) Club, the Front Range's new hub of fitness racing.   Beginning June 1, your Sanitas membership includes free membership in the Boulder Hyrox Club.

Hyrox is the world's fastest-growing endurance sport.  It will pass marathon, triathlon, and spartan race to be the biggest by next year with over 2MM race participantts.   Because it started in Germany, it is less known in the US than you would think.  And the first Denver Hyrox is coming up in November!

For people who like to test their fitness outside the gym, we love Hyrox because: 

 1) it combines 8 1k runs with 8 CrossFit-style stations (sleds, burpees, wall balls, etc)

2)  It may be the best broad-based test of endurance combined with functional fitness so it is tailor-made made for competitive Coloradans!

3) A full-length Hyrox race is doable for most CrossFitters without supplemental training

4) Training for Hyrox is much better for your health than training for marathon and triathlon. 

5) Its consistency allows benchmarking over time

6) They host fun events on five continents (including in Denver on Nov X).

And Sanitas' Boulder Hyrox Club is making training for Hyrox even more accessible, more fun and better for your health- our Sanitas version of Hyrox  has three improvements over Hyrox racing:

a) You can sub in biking for running on for any or all of the 8 endurance segments

b) Each Hyrox challenge simulation we host will allow you to sub in 1-2 alternate stations to provide a better-rounded workout (or you can stick with the standard station if you want to standardize times).

c) You can choose to do any workout 1/2 length or with a partner to keep it shorter or less intense.

Coaches Shaye and Dwight both have extensive exprience coaching, competing in and programming for Hyrox, and all of our coaches are in process of taking the Hyrox Foundations class so they can best support you..
